#It's What We Do
Each of Our Bikes
Are Special to Us
Our vehicles are a lifeline for the NHS, ensuring the rapid and secure transport of urgent medical items outside of standard hours. Whether it’s delivering blood products, test samples, or vital documents, these dedicated vehicles fill a critical gap—often making the difference between delay and timely treatment.
Our fleet of ex-police bikes and ex-ambulance cars ensure that our volunteers have access to the highest standard of specialist vehicles than can be utilized come rain or shine.
You may have seen our mini fleet around Nottinghamshire at fundraising events, although they aren’t used for delivering blood they do come in handy for entertaining the kids!
We are very proud of our fleet and the vital work that they help us carry out for the NHS. Many of our vehicles bear meaningful names to remember loved ones who are no longer with us, each carrying a unique story and tribute. You can check out some of these tributes below;

Meet Our Special Fleet

Kathryn
Kathryn de Motte left Nottinghamshire blood bikes a £5,000 legacy in her will, we are proud to name BC21 in her memory. Kathryn’s husband Jonathan now volunteers for the charity and can deliver life saving blood in her memory.

Ian
Ian Coates was tragically murdered in 2023 on his way to work as a caretaker at Huntingdon Academy. As a lifelong Nottingham Forest fan, we were honoured to present Ian’s bike to his family at the city ground in 2024.

Graham
We are proud to dedicate BB19 in the memory of Nottinghamshire police office Sergeant Graham Saville, who died in the line of duty as he attempted to save a distressed man.

Grace
Grace O’Malley-Kumar was tragically murdered in 2023 on her way home from a night out. Grace would ride her Vespa motorbike to help vaccinate the public during covid and she dreamed to follow in her parents footsteps to become a doctor. We will continue Grace’s legacy by delivering life saving blood on her bike.
