The Unseen Emergency Service
We are a UK Registered Charity run entirely by unpaid volunteers.
Our aim is to provide an emergency transport service to the NHS, delivering blood and other urgent medical items between hospitals in and around Nottinghamshire, and even across the country when that's required.
In critical situations, items need to be delivered urgently in order to help save a patient’s life.
Our vehicles, in their ‘hi-viz’ livery, can quickly & safely get through heavy traffic to reach their destination sooner than many alternatives available.
WHAT WE DO
We transport blood products, patient samples, medical files, frozen human breast milk for premature babies and much more, FREE OF CHARGE for the NHS.
We want to expand our services to cover every NHS facility in Nottinghamshire 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.
YOU CAN HELP US...
If you'd like to give something back to your community and you have some spare time, then getting involved could be the thing for you!
HOW WE'RE FUNDED
From supermarkets to retail parks, school fairs to major shows, our volunteers give up their spare time to meet with the public and receive donations.
Our volunteers – and supporters – have taken part in various challenges to raise funds and we’ve been very fortunate to receive donations from companies and organisations.
If you feel able to donate to us
- whatever the amount -
we'll put your money to good use.
EVERY PENNY we receive in donations goes towards the running of our charity - nobody is paid!
For every £1 we receive, we're able to save the NHS about £5 in transport costs.
Here are a few organisations
who have contributed to our charity over the years...
